How to Troubleshoot Armor Chroma When the Armor Bar Looks Wrong or Missing
Most Armor Chroma problems come down to conflicts or config, not the mod itself. Work through these in order.
The bar is missing entirely
Check that the mod is actually loaded for this instance and that no other HUD mod is drawing over the same area. Two mods fighting for the armor bar's screen space can result in one hiding the other. Temporarily disable other HUD-altering mods to isolate the conflict, then re-enable them one at a time.
Icons look wrong or doubled
This usually means a resource pack and the mod are both rendering armor icons. Open the config and turn off the mod's custom icon rendering, or switch resource packs, and see which combination looks correct. If icons are the right style but the wrong color, check whether a leather piece is dyed — the tint follows the dye.
Enchantment markers are not showing
Confirm the armor actually carries a relevant enchantment; the mod only marks what is enchanted. If it is enchanted and still unmarked, verify the config option controlling enchantment display has not been turned off, then restart the game after saving changes.
Still broken
Reset the config to defaults, relaunch, and test with only this mod plus its required dependencies enabled. That tells you whether the issue is the mod or your modpack.
