How to Swap and Remove Genes from Your Body

Changing Your Active Genes

One of the mod's core features is flexibility—you're not locked into mutations forever. Use the /archogenum gene remove command to strip away any trait you no longer want. This lets you experiment freely without permanent consequences.

To add new genes, use /archogenum gene add followed by the gene name. You can switch between different genetic combinations to adapt to new challenges: add heat resistance before exploring the Nether, then swap it for water breathing before diving into the ocean.

Managing Your Gene Collection

As you discover new genes, they're added to your personal genetic library. Use /archogenum gene discover to unlock genes you've found so they become available for use. If you want to hide a gene from your active list temporarily, /archogenum gene forget will lock it away.

This system means you can build multiple "loadouts" of mutations for different situations, switching between them as needed.
