How to Survive Extreme Biomes with Genetic Traits
Adapting to Harsh Environments
Genetic traits let you survive biomes that would normally be deadly. Before entering the Nether, extract heat resistance genes from fire-resistant creatures and eat a genetic fruit containing them. This makes lava and high temperatures harmless.
For deep ocean exploration, add water-breathing or aquatic traits. For the End, consider genes that boost damage resistance or provide combat advantages. Each extreme biome benefits from different genetic adaptations.
Building Survival Loadouts
Plan your mutations around your exploration goals. Combine multiple complementary genes—pair heat resistance with speed to traverse lava lakes quickly, or mix poison immunity with undead traits to turn poison into healing.
Test gene combinations in safer areas first before committing to dangerous expeditions. Keep genetic fruits for your most useful trait combinations so you can quickly re-apply them if you die or need to swap to different genes. Document which genes work best for each biome so you can efficiently prepare for future adventures.
