Upgrade Magic Gear Using New Ores

Finding Upgrade Ores

The mod adds five new ores scattered throughout the Overworld. Mine these ores with an appropriate pickaxe and collect the raw materials. These ores are essential for enhancing your magical weapons and armor beyond their base stats.

Crafting Upgrade Materials

Smelt or process the raw ores into usable upgrade components. These materials will be used in crafting recipes to enhance your gear. Check your crafting menu for upgrade recipes—they typically require the ore material plus your existing magical item.

Applying Upgrades to Armor and Weapons

Once you have upgrade materials, use them to enhance your magic armor sets and weapons. Upgrading improves magic stats like spell power, mana regeneration, or school-specific bonuses. Hybrid Tier armor can be upgraded to balance stats across two compatible schools, while Arch Tier pieces focus on single-school mastery.

Prioritize upgrading gear that matches your spell loadout for the most effective combat performance.
