Gathering Necro Spells

Necro magic focuses on curses, debuffs, and damage over time effects. Start by exploring the new structures that generate across the Overworld—these often contain spell books and magical loot. Look for Necro spell books in chests, or craft them if you've unlocked the recipes.

Creating a Debuff Combo

Necro spells work best when layered together. Combine a curse spell with a damage-over-time spell to weaken enemies before finishing them off. For example, cast a debuff first to reduce enemy defenses, then follow with a continuous damage spell.

Equip a Necro-focused armor set (Arch Tier if you're specializing purely in Necro magic) to boost your spell power and mana efficiency. This will increase the potency of your curses and the damage your damage-over-time effects deal.

Testing Your Build

Practice against the new hostile mobs that spawn naturally. These enemies cast spells themselves, so you'll learn to dodge while managing your own spell rotation. Start in safer areas and gradually face tougher encounters as your spell synergy improves.
