Why AppleCore Has No Items and Where Its Features Actually Appear

New players often install AppleCore expecting a new food or block, then get confused when nothing shows up in the creative inventory. AppleCore is a library mod, so its effects only appear through other mods.

Understand What a Library Mod Does

AppleCore provides shared code for hunger and food handling. It does not register its own blocks or items. If you open the creative menu, you will not find anything labeled AppleCore.

See AppleCore Working Through Other Mods

Install a mod that depends on AppleCore, such as a food or hunger mod. Once both are loaded, the dependent mod's features will use AppleCore's systems. You will notice things like more consistent hunger values, food tooltips, or saturation handling that behaves the same across multiple mods.

Confirm It Is Loaded

Check your mods list in-game. AppleCore should appear there even though it adds no content. If it is missing, mods that depend on it may fail to load or fall back to vanilla hunger behavior.

When to Keep It

Keep AppleCore installed whenever another mod in your pack requires it. Removing it can break those mods. If no mod depends on it, it will simply sit idle with no visible effect.
