How to Set Up AntiXray Bypass Permissions for Admins and Trusted Players

Who Needs Bypass Access

Server administrators and trusted staff members often need to see real blocks for moderation, building, or debugging purposes. AntiXray includes bypass permissions that let specific players see through the obfuscation while regular players remain protected.

Granting Bypass Permissions

AntiXray integrates with standard permission systems. Locate the bypass permission node in the mod's documentation or permission list. Use your permissions plugin to grant this node to your admin group or specific trusted players. Players with this permission will see actual blocks instead of fake ones, allowing them to work normally without disabling the mod for everyone.

Verifying Bypass Works

After granting the permission, have the trusted player reconnect to the server. They should now see real ores while other players continue seeing obfuscated blocks. Test by placing a valuable block in a hidden location and having both a bypassed player and a regular player check it. The bypassed player sees the real block, while the regular player sees the fake replacement. If bypass is not working, double-check that the permission node matches exactly and that your permissions plugin has reloaded properly.
