How to Install and Activate the Animated Totem of Undying Resource Pack
Placing the Pack Correctly
A resource pack only changes textures, so getting it into the right folder is the whole job. Open your Minecraft installation folder and locate the resourcepacks directory. Drop the downloaded .zip file in there without unzipping it — Minecraft reads zipped packs directly, and extracting the folder can break the pack format detection.
Enabling It In-Game
Launch Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs. You should see the pack listed under "Available." Click the arrow to move it to "Selected," then confirm. If the pack does not appear, check that the zip contains a valid pack.mcmeta at its root and that the folder structure inside matches the pack format your game version expects.
Confirming the Animation Works
Hold a totem of undying in your main hand or offhand and look at it in first-person view. The animated texture should cycle through its frames automatically. If you only see a static frame, another resource pack placed above it in the selection list is overriding the totem texture — drag this pack to the top of the Selected column so it takes priority. Note that resource packs do not add gameplay effects; the totem still functions exactly as vanilla, saving you from death and granting its usual effects when triggered.
