Collecting Crocodile Eggs and Raising Hatchlings
Finding Crocodile Nests
Crocodiles lay eggs in sandy and beach areas near water in savanna and river biomes. Look for clusters of eggs on the ground near adult crocodiles. Eggs are typically found in shallow water or on sandy shores.
Harvesting and Hatching Eggs
Carefully collect the eggs and transport them to your base. Place them in a suitable environment—sandy or dirt blocks near water work best. Eggs will hatch over time into baby crocodiles. Keep the area lit and protected from other mobs to ensure safe development.
Raising Hatchlings
Baby crocodiles need to be fed regularly to grow. Provide their preferred food source consistently. As they mature, they'll become more independent but may still follow you if bonded. Adult crocodiles can be aggressive, so handle them carefully.
Storage Tip
If you're collecting multiple eggs, organize them in separate areas to track different generations and manage your crocodile population effectively.
