Cast Your First Spell

Opening the Spell Book

To begin casting spells, you need to obtain a spell book. This is your primary tool for spell casting in Ancient Spellcraft. Once you have one, hold it and open your inventory to access the spell selection interface.

Selecting and Casting

Spells are organized by element and tier. Browse through the available spells and select one that matches your current mana pool. Each spell displays its mana cost—make sure you have enough mana regenerated before attempting to cast.

Once selected, close your inventory. You'll see the spell appear on your HUD. To cast:

• Instant spells: Right-click once to cast immediately
• Continuous spells: Hold right-click to maintain the effect; release to stop

Your mana will deplete based on the spell's cost. Early spells are typically low-tier and cost less mana, making them ideal for learning the casting system.

If a spell doesn't work, check that you're not in a restricted area and that your mana has fully regenerated.
