Finding and Mining Resource Ore for Gems

Where to Look

Resource Ore generates underground in the Overworld between Y=-64 and Y=32. This means you'll find it in caves, ravines, and deep mining tunnels. Use a cave explorer or strip-mine at these depths to locate deposits efficiently.

Mining and Crafting Gems

1. Equip an iron pickaxe or better (diamond, netherite, or higher tier tools work)

2. Mine Resource Ore blocks when you find them

3. Collect the Resource Shards that drop

4. Craft Resource Shards together to create Resource Gems

5. Use Resource Gems as crafting ingredients to make Ancient Loot Crates

Pro Tips

Resource Ore appears frequently enough that dedicated mining runs will yield multiple gems. Consider mining at Y=-16 to Y=0 where caves are common and ore density is good. You can also craft Resource Gems into Resource Blocks for storage if you're collecting large quantities.
