Set Up Your First Slime-to-Froglight Loop

Find and Prime Your First Slime

Locate a wild slime in a biome that matches the slime type (swamps spawn Swamp Slimes, for example). Hold a resource item like an iron ingot, copper ingot, or diamond, then right-click the slime to prime it. The slime will change appearance to reflect the resource it's carrying.

Feed the Primed Slime to a Frog

Lead or transport the primed slime to a frog in the same area or your base. The frog will eat the slime and drop a resource-themed Froglight—the color and type depend on what resource the slime was carrying.

Recover Your Resource

Place the Froglight in a standard furnace and smelt it to recover the original resource, or slightly more if you've bred high-stat frogs. For faster processing or to extract multiple resource types, use a Froglight Crucible instead.

This basic loop is your foundation for scaling up. Once comfortable, craft a Slime Milker to spawn slimes on demand and begin automating with a Terrarium multiblock.
