Collect Boss Drops Peacefully with Apex Frogs

Unlock Apex Frogs

Apex Frogs are special frogs capable of producing boss drops without you fighting bosses. Breed or craft an Apex Frog and place it in your base.

Build a Boss Altar

Construct the appropriate boss altar multiblock near your Apex Frog. Different altars correspond to different bosses—the Wither altar, Warden altar, and others. The altar provides the Apex Frog with the essence or context it needs to generate boss-specific drops.

Feed and Harvest

Prime slimes with resources and feed them to your Apex Frog as normal. Instead of standard Froglights, the frog will drop boss-themed Froglights or direct boss drops like Nether Stars, Sculk, or other rare materials.

Scale Peacefully

This system lets you farm boss drops indefinitely without combat. Set up multiple Apex Frogs with different altars to diversify your rare material income and avoid the danger and time cost of boss fights.
