Enable the Totem of Undying Custom Animation

Activating the Themed Totem

The Alya Pack replaces your Totem of Undying with custom character artwork and a unique activation animation. When you would normally die, the totem triggers and displays anime-inspired visuals instead of the default particle effect.

How to See It

1. Ensure the resource pack is active in your resource pack menu (it should load automatically if installed correctly).

2. Equip a Totem of Undying in your offhand slot.

3. Take fatal damage—fall from a height, burn, drown, or take enough damage to reach zero health.

4. The totem activates automatically and displays the custom animation with character art.

5. You'll be restored to health and the custom visual plays instead of the standard totem effect.

Customization Notes

The animation is purely visual—all gameplay mechanics remain unchanged. The totem still grants the same protection and cooldown as vanilla. If you want to disable just this element while keeping other pack features, you may need to manually remove the totem texture files from the pack, though this isn't recommended as it may cause visual errors.

The custom animation works in all game modes and dimensions where totems function normally.
