How to Make Creepers Blend Into Each Biome's Grass
Understanding How the Pack Works
AL's Creepers Revamped is a resource pack, not a mod with new items or mobs. It swaps the creeper texture depending on the biome the creeper is standing in, tinting the body to match that biome's grass color. You do not craft or configure anything — the variety appears automatically once the pack is active.
Getting the Effect to Show Up
1. Make sure the pack is enabled in your resource pack list and sits above any other pack that also edits creeper textures, otherwise the other pack wins.
2. Load a world and walk between biomes. Plains, forest, swamp, savanna, jungle, and badlands each produce a differently tinted creeper.
3. If a creeper looks unchanged, check that you are actually in a different biome — press F3 and read the biome line, since grass color is tied to biome, not to the block under the mob.
4. Stand still and let a creeper wander across a biome border to watch the tint shift.
Things That Break the Look
Shaders, OptiFine-style grass-color overrides, or other packs that replace the creeper texture will override this one. Disable those first. In superflat or custom worlds with no biome data, creepers fall back to the default tint.
