Finding Bison

Bison spawn in plains and savanna biomes, often in small groups near rivers and grasslands. They are large, brown herbivores that are generally peaceful unless threatened. Look for them grazing in open fields during the day.

Breeding Requirements

To breed bison, you need to feed two adults the same food item—typically wheat or hay bales work well. After feeding both bison, hearts will appear above them, and a calf will spawn shortly after. Space out your breeding attempts to avoid overcrowding.

Managing Your Herd

Bison are social creatures and thrive in groups. Keep them in a large, open pasture with plenty of grass and water access. Build fencing to contain them, but ensure the area is spacious enough for natural movement. Regularly feed your herd to keep them healthy and encourage continued breeding.

Bison can be led using food items, making it easier to guide them to new pastures or corrals. Avoid sudden movements or loud noises near your herd, as they may panic and scatter.
