Using the Aimz Crosshair Effectively in PvP
A cleaner crosshair does not change hitboxes or reach, but it can make your aim more consistent because your eye has a clearer reference point. Here is how to get the most out of it in combat.
Learn the Center Gap
Spend a few minutes in a creative world or on a practice server hitting a stationary target. The Aimz reticle has a defined center, so train yourself to place that exact point on the target rather than "near" it. Consistent centering is what actually improves your hit rate.
Pair It With Good Settings
Set FOV to a value you can aim with comfortably — a very wide FOV distorts the center of the screen and makes any crosshair less precise. Keep View Bobbing off and Dynamic FOV off so the reticle stays stable while you sprint and jump. Lower Particles so hit sparks do not obscure the crosshair mid-fight.
Use It for Tracking, Not Just Clicking
Because the design is uncluttered, it is well suited to tracking moving opponents in sword, axe, and bow fights. Focus on keeping the center dot on the target's body as they strafe, rather than flicking. Combine this with strafing of your own to stay unpredictable. Remember the crosshair is purely visual — your reach and damage are unchanged.
