Understand Whitelist Behavior

In whitelist mode, only the mobs you list will have their spawners disappear after reaching the spawn limit. Every other spawner keeps working normally. This is useful when you want to restrict farming of a few valuable mobs while leaving common spawners untouched.

Configure the Whitelist

Open the Ageing Spawners config file in your config folder with a text editor. Switch the mode setting to whitelist, then add the mob entries you want affected. Use the mob's registry name (for example, the identifier used by the game for that entity) rather than a display name, since the config matches on IDs. Add one entry per line or per list item depending on how the file is formatted. Save the file and restart the game.

Verify In-Game

Place a spawner for a whitelisted mob and one for a non-whitelisted mob. Let both run. The whitelisted spawner should eventually break once it hits the spawn limit, while the other should keep spawning. If the wrong spawner breaks, double-check the spelling of the mob ID in the config.
