Master Parrying and Dashing to Survive Boss Attacks

The Parry System

Parrying is your primary defensive tool against bosses. When an enemy attack is incoming, press your parry button at the exact moment the attack connects. Successful parries don't just block damage—they create an opening for counterattacks and can interrupt boss abilities. Timing is everything; parry too early or late and you'll take full damage.

Using Dash to Dodge

Dashing lets you quickly move out of harm's way when parrying isn't possible. Use it to escape area-of-effect attacks or reposition during multi-phase boss fights. Dashing has a cooldown, so use it strategically rather than spamming.

Practice Against Minibosses

Before facing major dragons or kings, fight minibosses to develop your parry and dash timing. Each boss has distinct attack patterns—learn to recognize the wind-up animations that signal incoming hits. Combining parries with dashes creates a rhythm that lets you stay aggressive while staying alive through even the toughest encounters.
