Picking Your Class

When you first spawn into a world with Age of Dragons Mod, you'll be prompted to select one of 6 character classes. Each class has unique combat abilities, stat distributions, and playstyles. Take time to read each class description before committing—your choice shapes how you'll approach boss fights and progression.

Class Roles and Combat Style

Classes are designed around different combat strategies. Some excel at melee damage and tanking hits, while others focus on mobility, ranged attacks, or support abilities. Consider whether you prefer aggressive, defensive, or hit-and-run tactics.

Unlocking Abilities

As you progress through the mod's content and defeat bosses, your class will unlock special abilities tied to your character path. These aren't immediately available—you earn them by advancing through the linear progression system. Early bosses teach you fundamental mechanics; later encounters reward you with powerful class-specific skills that define your endgame playstyle.

You can't change your class mid-playthrough, so choose carefully based on how you want to experience the mod's 20+ boss fights.
