Brewing and Flying with Wing Potions

Getting Started with Flight

To gain wings, brew a Slow Falling potion as your base using a standard brewing stand. Add your chosen ingredient to the top slot—options include feathers, bat blood, dyes, bones, and other materials—to create a wing potion. Drink the finished potion to equip your wings.

Once equipped, press R to take off and fly freely. Flight consumes hunger during takeoff, gliding, and landing, so manage your food supply accordingly. While airborne, a defensive aura automatically repels hostile mobs within 14 blocks, giving you protection from threats below.

Each ingredient produces different wing visuals, from angelic feather wings to vibrant parrot or dragon variants, letting you customize your flight experience.
