Getting Started with Shields and Modules

Begin by gathering materials during early exploration to craft basic defensive modules. Equip these modules into your active gear slots to activate their effects—each module grants unique combat benefits but comes with trade-offs to consider.

When you're ready to modify your installed modules, craft a Light Core and use it to adjust your setup. As you progress, you can equip different shield types to absorb damage and select attack styles that match your playstyle.

To share protection with allies, place a Shield Receiver on a companion mob, then transfer your active shield to them using the Shield Transplant Module. Spawn your unique companion entities to fight alongside you, and customize your combat stats through attribute modules to survive dangerous encounters.
