Understand Pattern Provider Capacity

Advanced Pattern Providers can store up to 63 patterns each—far more than standard ME blocks. This makes them ideal for large factory setups with many different recipes.

Insert Patterns into the Provider

Access the provider's interface and insert crafting patterns. Each pattern represents one recipe your factory can produce. Organize patterns by production stage or material type for easier management.

Configure Provider Output

Use the side configuration menu to set which face outputs crafted items. Connect this output to your next processing step or to storage. The provider will automatically push completed items in the configured direction.

Link to Your ME Network

Connect the pattern provider to your ME network via cable or wireless broadcaster. This lets the provider pull ingredients from storage and request crafting when needed.

Chain Multiple Providers

For massive factories, use several Advanced Pattern Providers in sequence. Each one can handle different recipe stages, creating a multi-step assembly line that processes materials efficiently from raw dust all the way to finished products.
