Configure Machine I/O Sides for Efficient Routing

Access the Configuration Menu

Right-click any machine in the mod to open its side configuration interface. This menu controls which faces accept items and which faces output them.

Assign Input and Output Sides

Select each side of the machine individually. Designate certain faces to pull items in (input) and others to push finished products out (output). You can also lock sides to prevent accidental changes.

Use Resonating Pattern System

For precise ingredient routing, use the Resonating Pattern system to send specific crafting materials to exact machine sides. This ensures the right items reach the right machines without mixing.

Connect Multiple Machines

Arrange your machines in a line or grid, then configure each one so outputs from one machine feed directly into inputs of the next. This creates an automated production chain.

Test Your Flow

Insert test items and verify they move through your system correctly. Adjust side configurations if items back up or take wrong paths. Once optimized, your factory will run smoothly without manual intervention.
