Setting Up Your First Turret

To build a turret, find the correct base block for the weapon type you want. Hold Shift and click on the base to place your turret.

You can control turrets two ways:

Manual Control: Use arrow keys to aim and press your bound shoot button to fire. This lets you target enemies yourself.

Automatic Defense: Place a winding mechanism inside the base. The turret will then scan the surrounding area and automatically shoot any enemies that enter its range.

Each turret has its own attack range and damage type. Experiment with different placements around your base to create overlapping defensive coverage. Combine manual and automatic turrets for flexible protection against monster attacks.
