How to Fix Missing Bridge, Roof, or Fence Blocks After Installing AddonsLib
AddonsLib exists so that Macaw's-style building mods (bridges, roofs, fences, and similar sets) can register their blocks and items through a shared library instead of each mod doing it alone. If you installed AddonsLib expecting new blocks to appear but nothing shows up in your creative inventory, the library itself is not the content — it is the glue. You still need the actual content mods installed alongside it.
Check the load order and dependencies
1. Confirm that AddonsLib is present in your mods folder together with at least one content mod that depends on it.
2. Launch the game and open the mod list. AddonsLib should load before the mods that use it; most loaders handle this automatically, but a manually shuffled folder can break it.
3. If a content mod shows as disabled or errored, remove it, relaunch, and re-add it so the loader re-reads the dependency chain.
Verify the blocks are actually registered
Open a creative world and search the inventory for the specific bridge, roof, or fence variant you expect. If the content mod is loaded but its blocks are absent, the registration handshake through AddonsLib failed — usually because the content mod version does not match the library version it was built against. Swap to a matching pair and relaunch. AddonsLib will not add blocks on its own; it only lets other mods add them cleanly.
