Upgrade Your Paxel to the Next Tier

Decide When to Upgrade

As your current paxel's durability depletes, plan your upgrade.

Gather New Tier Materials

Mine or obtain the resources needed for your next tier (stone, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite). You'll need enough to craft a complete axe, pickaxe, and shovel set of that material.

Craft the New Tools

Build the three tools at a crafting table or furnace (depending on the material). Stone and higher tiers may require smelting or other preparation steps.

Combine Into Your Upgraded Paxel

Place the three new tools into the crafting table using the paxel recipe. You'll receive your upgraded paxel with better mining speed, higher durability, and the ability to mine tougher blocks.

Dispose of Your Old Paxel

Your previous paxel can be broken down by smelting or left behind. Some players keep lower-tier paxels as backups for specific tasks.
