How to Read Clock, Compass, and Recovery Compass Info from the Wrist Slot

What the Wrist slot shows

Accessorify can hold a Clock, Compass, or Recovery Compass in a Wrist slot, displaying their useful information without taking up a hotbar or inventory slot.

Steps

1. Open your inventory and find the Wrist slot among the accessory slots.

2. Place the item you want — Clock, Compass, or Recovery Compass — into the Wrist slot. If it will not go in, open the configuration menu and enable that item for the Wrist slot.

3. Check your HUD or the slot's display to see the relevant information: time of day for the Clock, your facing/bearing for the Compass, and the direction of your last death for the Recovery Compass.

4. Swap items in the Wrist slot as needed. Only one fits at a time, so pick the one most useful for your current activity — a Compass while exploring, a Recovery Compass after a risky trip, a Clock when timing mob spawns or sleep.

5. Remove the item from the Wrist slot if you want to use it in a crafting recipe or trade; it behaves as a normal item once unequipped.

Tips

• Because the mod generates replacement slots when you equip an accessory, using the Wrist slot should not reduce your total inventory space.
• If the display is not updating, confirm the correct item is in the Wrist slot and that the config has not disabled it.
• The Recovery Compass still needs to have been charged by your last death to point anywhere useful.
