Locating Lush Caves

Lush caves generate deep underground in the expanded world. Use the /cncbiome command to identify when you're in a lush cave biome. These caves are filled with moss blocks, azalea bushes, spore blossoms, and hanging glow berry vines. Listen for the distinctive ambient sounds and look for the characteristic green and blue vegetation.

Harvesting Glow Berries

Glow berries hang from cave ceilings on vines. Break the vines with any tool or your hand to collect the berries. Each vine segment may drop berries individually. Glow berries can be eaten directly for a small hunger restoration, or planted on the underside of solid blocks to create decorative hanging vines in your base.

Tips for Efficient Farming

Bring a water bucket to navigate safely through lush cave waters where axolotls spawn. Mark your path back to the surface with torches or blocks. Consider building a glow berry farm in your base by placing them on the underside of blocks in a dark area—they'll grow and spread naturally, creating a renewable light source and food supply.
