Find and Mine Abyssal Core Ore in the End

Preparation

You must defeat the Ender Dragon before Abyssal Core ore spawns. Once the dragon is dead, new ore will generate across the outer End islands on your next visit or chunk load.

Mining the Ore

Travel to the outer End islands away from the main island. Look for distinctive purple ore blocks among the End stone. Use any pickaxe to mine them—they will drop dust rather than ore blocks.

Collect enough dust to begin crafting. You'll need four dust to create one shard at a crafting table. Continue mining until you have enough shards to forge a complete ingot (eight shards surround one Netherite ingot in a crafting grid).

Tips

• Bring a pickaxe and plenty of blocks to build bridges between islands
• Wear armor and bring a weapon for protection against Endermen
• Mark your mining locations so you can return to harvest more ore later
• Store dust safely in a chest—losing it means returning to the islands
