Combining 3D Ladders With Other Resource Packs

Understand What Conflicts

This pack touches ladder textures and models only. It will not fight packs that change terrain, GUI, or mobs. Conflicts happen when another pack also edits ladder files — common with full "realistic" or "vanilla tweaks" style packs that bundle everything.

Resolving Conflicts

1. Open the resource pack screen and note which packs are active.

2. Move this pack above any pack that also changes ladders. Higher entries win.

3. Reload and check a placed ladder. If it is still flat, the other pack is likely loading after yours.

4. If you cannot reorder, disable the competing pack temporarily to confirm the cause.

Stacking With Shaders and Lighting

Shaders do not conflict with the model, but they change how shadows fall on the ladder's thickness. If the depth looks too subtle, try a lighting setup with stronger directional shadows. If it looks too harsh, soften ambient occlusion.

Keeping It Stable

Avoid running two packs that both claim to make ladders 3D — you will only ever see one. Pick one and keep it near the top of your list so updates to other packs do not silently override it.
