Enjoying Natural-Looking Pumpkin and Melon Stems
What Changed with Stems
3D Crops Revamped colors pumpkin and melon stems to match their growth and connection state. Instead of uniform textures, stems now display variation that makes your patch feel more organic and alive.
How Colored Stems Work
When you plant pumpkin or melon seeds, the stems grow and change appearance as they mature. The resource pack applies color variations that reflect whether a stem is:
- Still growing and unattached
- Connected to a fruit
- At different growth stages
To see the effect:
- Plant pumpkins or melons in your farm
- Watch the stems develop over time—they'll display distinct colors and shading
- Mature, fruit-bearing stems will look visually different from young or barren ones
This makes pumpkin and melon patches more visually interesting and helps you quickly spot which stems have produced fruit without needing to search around them.
