How do I turn on Moonplayshader?
Moonplayshader is a shader pack, so you need a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine running. In-game, open Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs, select Moonplayshader from the list, and click Done or Apply.
How can I tell if Moonplayshader is actually working?
Look for clean shadows under blocks, mobs and your builds, and a colored glow around light sources like torches in dark areas. If the world looks exactly like plain vanilla lighting, the pack isn't active. Reopen the Shader Packs menu and make sure Moonplayshader is selected.
Will Moonplayshader lag my potato PC?

Does Moonplayshader need to be installed on the server?
No. Shader packs only change how the game looks on your own screen, so it's client-side only. You can use it on any multiplayer server, and other players don't need it.
Can I run Moonplayshader together with another shader pack?
No. Only one shader pack can be active at a time. To switch, go back to the Shader Packs menu and pick the one you want. Choose the Off option to return to vanilla lighting.
Does Moonplayshader work in every biome?
