Sovereign Skull Rain Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get the skull strike fishing rod?
Type /givewosc in chat and the special fishing rod will be added to your inventory. You only need to run this command once per player.
What happens if I use the rod and miss my target?
The skulls will still rain down and create an explosion at the location you aimed at, so make sure your crosshair is on the block you want to destroy before right-clicking.
Can I use this rod multiple times or is it one-time only?
Each fishing rod is single-use and triggers once, then the item is consumed. You'll need to use /givewosc again to get another rod.
Does the skull strike work underwater or in lava?
Yes, the rod works completely through water and lava without any loss of power, so you can target submerged or lava-surrounded structures.
What blocks can the skull strike break through?
The barrage breaks through all obstacles including obsidian and crying obsidian, making it effective against heavily fortified structures.
How many skulls spawn and how far do they spread?
100 blue wither skulls spawn in a wide circle 50 blocks above the player and fire downward toward your target block at high speed.
Will this lag my server?
Spawning 100 skulls with explosion damage of 6.0 each can create significant server load depending on your hardware; use sparingly on multiplayer servers or test impact on your specific setup.
Can I aim the rod at the sky or does it only work on ground blocks?
You need to aim your crosshair directly at a target block on the ground; aiming at the sky or empty space won't trigger the strike properly.
Do I need to be holding the rod to use the command, or can I give it to someone else?
The /givewosc command gives the rod to whoever runs it; you can give the rod to other players through normal inventory sharing or have them run the command themselves.
What's the difference between this and a regular wither attack?
The skull strike deals end crystal level damage with an explosion power of 6.0 per skull and spawns 100 of them at once in a coordinated barrage, making it far more destructive than natural wither damage.
