Configuration and Customization
ParCool is designed to be tailored to the player's preference. Most settings can be accessed via the in-game menu by pressing Alt + P.
Keybindings
Players can rebind every action in the standard Minecraft Controls menu. Key categories include: * Movement: Fast Run, Crawl, Slide. * Actions: Dodge, Roll, Quick Turn. * Settings: Open ParCool Menu.
The mod generates two configuration files: 1. parcool-client.toml: Controls HUD positioning, animation toggles, and camera shake effects. 2. parcool-server.toml: Controls stamina consumption rates, enables/disables specific movements globally, and manages compatibility with other stamina-based mods (like Paragliders or Epic Fight).
Mod Compatibility
ParCool features native support for several major mods: * Epic Fight: Integrates parkour animations with combat stances. * Paragliders / Elenai Dodge 2: Can be configured to share a single stamina pool with these mods. * BetterThirdPerson: Ensures animations look correct when playing in third-person mode.
Commands
Administrators can use the following commands to manage ParCool on a server:
/parcool reload: Reloads the configuration files without restarting the server./parcool stamina <player> <value>: Sets a specific player's current stamina level./parcool guide: Gives the player the ParCool Guidebook (requires Patchouli for full functionality).
