Gravestone Graves FAQ

A gravestone spawns at your death location containing all your items. Click on it with a shovel to retrieve items without destroying it, or break the gravestone to collect everything at once.

Gravestones have special appearances based on how you died—skeleton corpses appear when you starve or wither, and charged creeper statues appear when you die from explosions.

Use a silk touch pickaxe to pick up the gravestone; this preserves all stored items and death information. Breaking it without silk touch will drop the items but lose the gravestone data.
