Understanding cutting compatibility

The Farmer's Delight Cutting Compat Data Pack adds cutting recipes for items from compatible mods. Not every item from these mods can be cut—only specific plants, crops, and harvestable blocks have recipes.

Compatible mod sources

Items that can typically be cut come from: The Aether, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Autumnity, Buzzier Bees, Deep Aether, Deeper and Darker, Edenring, Friends and Foes, Paradise Lost, and Twilight Forest. These are the mods with integrated cutting recipes.

Testing items

The best way to discover cuttable items is through experimentation. Collect plants, flowers, fruits, and crops from these mods and try placing them on a cutting board. If an item has a cutting recipe, you'll be able to place it on the board and cut it with a knife.

Recognizing cuttable items

Look for items that are naturally harvestable or plant-based. Processed or crafted items typically won't have cutting recipes. Fruits, leaves, seeds, and dimensional plants are good candidates to test first.
