Java What changed in 1.9.1-pre2
Everything below is measured by comparing the game files of 1.9.1-pre1 with 1.9.1-pre2 — not copied from patch notes.
Minecraft did not ship a data generator until January 2018, so there is no registry of blocks and items to compare for a build this old. What is below is read from the game’s own client.jar: the text the game displays, and the textures, models and sounds it ships. New blocks and items almost always show up in both.

Development cycle
This build was part of the run-up to 1.9.1. Everything tested here landed in that release.
