What Stoprendering Mod Does

Stoprendering Mod is a small, single-purpose performance mod. It patches lag and tiny screen freezes caused by other mods such as Curios and Artifacts. Those mods do extra background work on your screen, and this mod stops that work from happening.

The difference is most noticeable when hundreds of monsters or animals are near you. Normally the game checks every single mob many times a second, which causes the screen to stutter. Stoprendering Mod blocks those extra checks so your game keeps running well. In short, it turns off useless visual updates on non-player characters.

Its fixes cover several areas: armor set bonus calculations for monsters, accessory items showing up on regular mobs, constant checks for equipped accessories, checks for special artifact items on non-players, and expensive work tied to enhanced hordes. Each one targets background ticking or rendering that does not affect players.
