What JamLib Mod Does

JamLib Mod is a library mod, not a content mod. It exists to be used by other mods made by JamCoreModding, and it does not add items, blocks, mobs or world features on its own. If you install it by itself, you will not notice any gameplay changes.

Features It Provides

JamLib Mod bundles a few shared systems that the mods built on top of it rely on:

• Config — a common configuration setup so dependent mods handle their settings consistently.
• Registration — shared helpers for registering blocks, items and similar content.
• Tick scheduling — a way for dependent mods to schedule work to run on ticks rather than doing everything at once.

Do You Need It?

You only need JamLib Mod if another mod you use lists it as a dependency. In that case, install it alongside that mod, matching the same Minecraft version. If nothing you run depends on it, you can safely skip it.
