Check Your Microphone Setup
1. Verify your microphone is plugged in and turned on
2. Check your operating system's audio settings to confirm Minecraft has microphone permission
3. Look for the microphone icon on your screen—it should appear when the mod is listening. If it never appears, the mod may not detect your audio device
4. Test your microphone in another application (Discord, system settings) to rule out hardware issues
Improve Recognition Accuracy
- Speak clearly and at normal volume—shouting or whispering confuses the voice detector
- Reduce background noise (close other apps, mute music, move away from fans)
- Speak the spell name exactly as it appears in your spellbook, unless you've set a custom word
- Pause between casts—give the mod time to process one spell before saying the next
Reset and Reconfigure
If nothing works, try disabling and re-enabling the voice control feature in your mod settings. Check that you actually have the spell equipped in your spellbook or weapon—the mod won't cast spells you don't own.
