Open your game settings, go to Accessibility, and toggle Subtitles to ON. Once subtitles are enabled, the Symbolic Subtitles Resource Pack will automatically display its icons next to the sound text on your screen.
Do the icons work for all sounds or just some?
The pack covers sounds for blocks, mobs, and actions—the most important sounds you'll hear while playing. Boss mobs like the Warden, Wither, and Ender Dragon get special colored text treatment so you spot them immediately.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but resource packs stack in order, so if another pack also changes subtitles or fonts, whichever pack is loaded last will take priority. Place Symbolic Subtitles higher in your pack list if you want its icons and fonts to show.
The font looks too different from normal Minecraft. Can I change it back?
