Pnk Beanstalk Drops

Loot Summary

The table below gives a quick overview of the unique drops and other items you'll find inside a normal beanstalk. Note that a failed or stunted beanstalk will not drop or contain any of these items. Some of the items are available through other means, but can be present in abundance inside a beanstalk.

To find out what a beanstalk is actually made off (like bark, logs, leaf blocks, etc.), read the Beanstalk Anatomy page instead. To get more details about the various items, read their respective wiki pages as linked in the summary descriptions.

Item Name Description
Lost Beans Jack's Lost Beans With some of these is how it all starts. You always need Lost Beans to grow one of MrG's beanstalks. Although obtaining your first beans is quite a chore, you will sometimes find new beans in the loot boxes of beanstalks themselves.
Stained Bone Stained Bone Stained bones are the processed bones of the unfortunate creatures MrG has caught trying to steal his preciouses. He uses stained bones to make his bread and blood stew. You can use them to make Mob Cudgels or Impressible Bones.
Beanstalk Key Beanstalk Key Beanstalk keys are special items that MrG has created to secure all of his loot. Somehow he binds one such key to every healthy beanstalk. You must have this special key to unlock all of a particular beanstalk's treasures. Note that these keys are not interchangeable and each one is vanishing cursed -- so take care to keep your keys safe!
Heart Harvester Heart Harvester Special golden scythe you can use to harvest the inner beanstalk blocks and other obstacles to stalked glory. Combine with a Dark Tome on an anvil to get yourself a simple mob spawn-egg harvester as well. You will find pristine enchanted harvesters only in the beanstalk's base loot box. However, occasionally a beanstalk guardian will drop a very damaged unenchanted harvester.
Blood Stew Blood Stew Hearty blood stew is MrG's favorite lunch! It's a giant's power lunch made with a giant's body-form in mind. If a regular player eats it, it will trigger some rather nasty side-effects BUT it will also make that player almost inpervious to damage for several minutes! Good luck with that.
Heart Worm Heartworm Beanstalk heart wood frequently drops heartworms when broken. These little fellas seem to be connected to the Reforger's alchemical metallurgy processes especially when gold is involved. Use heartworms to transform Inchoate Gold to Living Gold for armor repair, to create Coarse Fanciirite for reforging weapons, and as bait for guardian mobs in Trawl Stations.
Rainbow Seeds Rainbow Seeds Rainbow seeds are dropped from the odd looking Albino pods you see growing all over the bark of a healthy beanstalk. Rainbow seeds can produce almost any kind of crop or sapling available within your game. To create an instant garden, plant one rainbow seed in the middle of a 5x5 patch of farmland or mycelium!
Witch's Flesh Witch's Flesh Witches drop their flesh occasionally when killed by a player. A witch's flesh is highly toxic nasty stuff but it also retains some of the mysterious defense intelligence we see in witches. Perhaps that is why Witch's Flesh is present in such large quantities in a beanstalk. It's possible MrG uses this material to help create some of a beanstalk's own defenses. We may never know. You can use witch flesh to create beanstalk sapling fertilizer, Stork Apples, or a mean Poison potion. We dare you to eat it!
Inchoate Gold Inchoate Gold Inchoate Gold or immature living gold, is dropped rarely by a beanstalk's enchanted leaves. You will also find it in heart loot boxes. Use it to create Living Gold to repair your X-Enchanted and Mending-enchanted gear.
Beanstalk Mulch Beanstalk Mulch Beanstalk mulch is occasionally dropped by beanstalk heart wood blocks. It's basically lots of heartworms mixed with heart wood pulp. It's dropped only when the source block is destroyed. That's gross sounding yes, but this stuff is really wonderful. If you use it on a Stunted Beanstalk Sapling it will always produce a new viable lost bean! Also useful for brewing long lasting fire-resistance potions.
Golden Egg Golden Egg Golden Eggs are a very rare precious you find only in a crown loot box. A beanstalk is full of lootable chests and boxes including some that you cannot see. A Golden Egg lets you gain access to some of this hidden treasure including the special sheep that "lay" these eggs!
Fecundity Dust Fecundity Dust Fecundity dust is a concentrated super-fertilizer enhancer that you extract from rare Red Wild Potatoes. If PinklySheep is the only mod from the modpack that you've installed, you will find fecundity dust only in jungle temple loot chests and the beanstalk itself. You need fecundity dust to create Beanstalk Grow!, the only fertilizer that will cause a young beanstalk sapling to grow.
Obsidian Obliterator Obsidian Obliterator A custom pickaxe for mining obsidian and obsidian derivatives (anything registered as obsidian). Slices through obsidian like butter without enchantments; add efficiency enchantments and wowza! Use to break off obsidian flakes from blocks to make your diamond swords even deadlier. Found in crown loot boxes only.
Bones Bread Bones Bread The lovely complement to MrG's Hearty Blood Stew. A single Bones Bread is packed with as much nutrition as 10 cooked steaks -- with no scary side-effects! Munch on it repeatedly until all of it is gone!
Eye of Giants Eye of Giants An Eye of Giants is sometimes dropped by angry beanstalk eye blocks. If you don't know what a beanstalk eye is, just attempt to chop down a healthy beanstalk and you'll soon find out. You must use a tool with at least Looting III to ever obtain this drop and it's far more likely in a non-peaceful gamemode (tip: always use a Heart Harvester). There are several types of eyes and you use each one differently; read the Eye of Giants page for details.
X Gear X-Enchanted Gear The heart and crown loot boxes often contain X-Enchanted gear: custom enchanted golden armor, weapons, and tools. "Gold is crap for these things" you say! True, but gold is GOLD and sparkly and shiny and stuff. And this is a beanstalk and MrG just loves the stuff so with the help of his blacksmiths Fee, Fi, Fo, and Fum he spends time customizing his golden items to make them comparable to souped-up diamond gear even if usable for a fraction of the time. (There's also some pretty nifty diamond and other gear as well!)
X Books X-Enchanted Books In many of the MrG's throw-away junk chests you'll find X-Enchanted books which seem to be books MrG sees no value in. Trust us-- one giant's junk is your awesome treasure. Like regular enchanted books, you need an anvil to use these books. X-enchants will bind to almost any repairable item, regardless of what other enchantments are present. However, you cannot combine X-Enchanted books with other books.
Dark Tome Dark Tome A special X-Enchanted book you need to embue items like Eye of Giants and Reforger Gems with a permanent Corrupting Taint to form new items and materials. Dark Tomes are not like their regular enchanted book counterparts; you can use them only for these conversions on an anvil.
Bones Grinding Stone Bones Grinding Stone A special grind stone MrG uses to mill Stained Bones and Stalk Nuts into fine bones flour for Bones Bread and Stalk Nut Paste. You can also use it to grind a skeleton bone into 10 bonemeal which is 2x more than the standard crafting recipe.
Bone Leech Bone Leeches Bone or blood leeches are dropped occasionally from beanstalk leaves. Their name sums up what they do: they live to leech (strength, health, whatever); keep them in your inventory at your own risk, but keep them somewhere as you need them to create various Talisman. Also useful for converting your splash potions to lingering potions.
Reforger's Workbook Reforger's Workbook A special item you can use to make new requests of the beanstalk's resident blacksmiths: Fee Fi Fo and Fum. Provide the right raw materials and you can create a variety of "fancii" and special swords like the Thirsty Crystal Sword, and ask to have old items reforged with new, hopefully better, attributes like hit precision and attack speed.
