What is Consistency+?

Consistency+ is a mod that originally aimed to fix inconsistencies in what building blocks are offered in the vanilla game, but has expanded far beyond this original goal. Since we started, we've added multiple thousand blocks, and continue to develop the mod into the behemoth that its become. The current goal of the mod is to make the different block types across building block materials uniform, meaning that every material has the same set of block types.

What block sets will be in the mod?

To see a full list of which block types and material types we cover, see this page. A few pages of our wiki are dedicated to listing and showing what blocks are in the mod, so if you're curious then the best way to see everything we have to offer is to give them a read! They are typically updated around the same time we update the mod to keep them current.

What versions are supported? Will you make ports to other loaders or versions?

As of Consistency+ 0.5.2, Fabric, Quilt, and Forge 1.19+ are supported. We plan on eventually backporting to some older versions eventually.

Do I need any other mods to run Consistency+?

Depending on what loader you use, you may need a few.

For Fabric:

  • Fabric API

For Quilt:

  • Quilted FAPI/QSL

For Forge (Consistency+ 0.5.1 or older):

  • Stonecutter Recipe Tags

For All Loaders:

  • Architectury
