Crafting Guide
Consistency+ alters the crafting recipe of some vanilla blocks, as well as adding in many custom recipe shapes to allow the crafting of all blocks.
Polished is crafted the same way as vanilla, using 4 of the base material block to get 4 polished in return.
Smooth blocks are created the same way as vanilla, by smelting them in a furnace. This creates a 1:1 ratio for input to output, and also works on slabs, stairs, walls, and gates. Smooth are one of the only variants not able to be created in a stonecutter, although they can be cut into their other forms - slabs, stairs, walls, and gates - through the stonecutter.
Bricks are crafted using 4 polished blocks, granting 4 brick blocks in return. This is how some vanilla brick blocks worked, although some used the base material.
Cut blocks are crafted using a 2x2 arrangement of bricks, with an output of 4. This is different than the few vanilla blocks that have cut variants.
Tiles are created using a 2x2 arrangement of cut, similar to how cut was made out of bricks. This is slightly different than the vanilla recipe, which used bricks rather than cut.
Pillars are crafted using 2 polished blocks in a vertical line, giving back 2 pillars. This is similar to the vanilla recipe for pillars
Corner Pillars are a new block type Consistency+ is adding sometime between 0.4 and 1.0 that acts as a 6 sided pillar block with the appearance of the top of the pillar. It is crafted the same way 6 sided log blocks are.
The chiseled recipe differs a lot from the vanilla one, using 4 cut slabs in a 2x2 grid to create 2 chiseled blocks.
For the materials that are stone-like, mining the base block will now drop a cobbled form of that material. Smelting the cobbled block in a furnace will restore it to the base block just like how cobblestone and cobbled deepslate work. Cobbled blocks can be used in a stonecutter, but can only be cut into the other forms of that block, such as stairs, slabs, walls, and gates.
Some materials, like clay, usually smelt into a separate material when put in a furnace. In Consistency+, all of these conversion recipes (clay -> terracotta, terracotta -> glazed terracotta, etc) have been moved to use the blast furnace instead.
Gates are a new block Consistency+ adds, which are basically a fence gate but for all materials. This is crafted using walls and full blocks of the desired block, and gates can be crafted from nearly any block, regardless of what form it is in.
