Frequently asked questions

What is the main purpose of Better Ban Plugin?
Better Ban Plugin helps server owners punish rule-breakers by providing commands to kick, mute, or ban players from the server. It also sends automatic notifications to Discord so staff can track all punishments.
Can a player rejoin the server after being kicked?
Yes, kicked players can rejoin the server immediately since a kick is temporary, unlike a ban which is permanent.
How does the plugin prevent banned players from returning with a new username?
The plugin tracks players using their unique account ID instead of their username, so they cannot sneak back in by changing their name.
What is the difference between /chatban and /voiceban?
/chatban stops a player from typing in chat while letting them play, and /voiceban stops them from talking in voice channels instead.
