Taco Recipes & Varieties
Tacos are assembled in a standard 3x3 crafting grid. Most recipes require a Tortilla and a specific filling.

Advanced & Specialty Tacos
- California Taco: A hearty variant typically crafted with a Tortilla, Steak, and a Potato.
- Barbacoa Taco: A specialized taco made using the Open Pot. It requires meat slow-cooked with Pencas (agave leaves).
- Double Taco: A massive taco that combines multiple fillings for maximum restoration.
- Golden Taco: Surround any standard taco with 8 Gold Ingots in a crafting table. Eating this provides Regeneration and Absorption effects, functioning as a powerful combat food similar to a Golden Apple.
Mechanics & Items
Pencas
Pencas are agave leaves used in the production of Barbacoa. They are essential for the slow-cooking process in the Open Pot, providing the distinct flavor and tenderizing properties required for high-tier meat fillings.
Advancements
The mod includes a custom advancement tree to guide players through the process: * Taco Time!: Craft your first Tortilla. * Golden Delight: Consume a Golden Taco. * Master Chef: Assemble every type of taco available in the mod.
Villager Trading
In certain versions, specialized Taco Traders may appear in villages or as wandering traders, offering rare ingredients like Pencas or pre-made specialty tacos in exchange for Emeralds.
