Pokécube Mod — Guide

Mechanics

Capturing

To capture a Pokémob, throw a Pokécube at it. Success is determined by the mob's remaining HP, status effects (Sleep and Paralysis help), and the type of cube used. If successful, the mob is tamed; if it fails, the cube may break or be retrievable.

Training and Evolution

Pokémobs gain experience by defeating other mobs (including vanilla mobs like Zombies). Upon reaching certain levels, they may evolve. Some evolutions require specific conditions: * Evolution Stones: Using a Fire Stone on Eevee to get Flareon. * Trading: Some mobs evolve when traded between players. * Happiness: High friendship levels triggered by walking or winning battles. * Time/Location: Evolving only at night or in specific biomes.

Breeding

Placing two compatible Pokémobs (same Egg Group, opposite genders) near a Daycare Block will eventually produce an Egg. Eggs must be carried or placed in a warm area to hatch. The offspring inherits IVs and moves from its parents.

Genetics System

Players can use the Gene Selector Book (a signed book with specific gene names) in the Gene Extractor to target specific traits like 'Shiny', 'Size', or 'Nature'. This DNA can then be spliced into other mobs to create 'perfect' specimens.

Combat

Combat in Pokécube is real-time. When a Pokémob is sent out, it will automatically defend its owner or attack a designated target.

Move Management

Players can cycle through a Pokémob's four active moves using the arrow keys (default) and trigger them with a specific keybind. Moves have types (Fire, Water, etc.) and categories (Physical, Special, Status).

Advanced Combat Forms

  • Mega Evolution: Requires a Mega Ring and the corresponding Mega Stone. It provides a massive stat boost for the duration of the battle.
  • Z-Moves: Ultra-powerful moves that can be used once per battle if the Pokémob holds a Z-Crystal.
  • Dynamax/Gigantamax: Triggered using a Wishing Piece or Gigant Shard. The Pokémob grows to a massive size, gains increased HP, and uses Max Moves.

World & Dimensions

Ultra Space

Accessible via Wormholes or the Ultra Dimensional Key, Ultra Space is a dangerous dimension with alien biomes: * Deep Mushroom Caves: Home to Nihilego. * Temporal Jungle: Floating islands where Buzzwole spawns. * Crystallized Desert: Contains Cosmic Ore used for advanced crafting.

Structures

  • Gyms: Large buildings found in villages containing NPC trainers and a Gym Leader.
  • Legendary Temples: Massive structures like the Sky Pillar (Rayquaza) or Ruins of Regi that house legendary Pokémobs.
  • Villain Lairs: Bases for Team Rocket or Team Galactic, filled with hostile trainers and loot.
  • Raids: Dynamax Pokémobs can appear in Max Raid Dens (large stone wells), requiring multiple players or Pokémobs to defeat.
