Make a Specific Item Type Always Stand Out

Adding Custom Item Rules

To highlight particular weapons, armor, or tools that matter to you, you need to create a custom detection rule.

1. Press O to open the full settings screen

2. Navigate to the custom item rules section

3. Select Add New Rule and choose your matching method:

• Display Name: Match items by their exact in-game name (useful for renamed gear)
• Item ID: Match by the item's internal identifier (catches all variants of that item type)
• Both: Require both name AND ID to match (most restrictive)

4. Enter the display name or item ID you want to track

5. Set the scale multiplier for how large these items should appear (0.1x to 4.0x)

6. Confirm and close the menu

Testing Your Rule

Drop an item matching your rule and verify it scales correctly. If it doesn't appear enlarged, double-check the spelling of the display name or item ID. You can adjust the scale value anytime by reopening settings with O.
