Improve Performance When Surrounded by Lots of Dropped Items
Choosing the Right Render Mode
When you're in areas with heavy item clutter, the mod offers render modes to keep your frame rate stable.
1. Press N to cycle through the four available render modes:
- Vanilla: Shows all items normally, but scales up valuable loot
- Performance: Shrinks non-valuable items to tiny size, keeping them visible but unobtrusive
- Ultra Performance: Hides non-valuable items completely from view
- Near Only: Only shows non-valuable items when you're standing close to them
Selecting the Best Mode
Start with Vanilla if your frame rate is stable. Switch to Performance if you notice lag around item piles. Use Ultra Performance in extremely cluttered areas. The Near Only mode is a good middle ground—it keeps your view clean at distance while still letting you see everything when you approach loot.
Your choice persists until you change it again, so experiment to find what works best for your hardware.
